VALDEZ ALASKA DAY 2 and 3

we went on the wildlife cruise
Saw seals, otters ,puffins, ice bergs, orcas black tail sitka deer, porpoise, eagles, silver salmon jumping and fishing boats
Where the Exxon Valdez went a ground
The next day we went the fish hcattery spawning area and a glacier calving

This is Meares Glacier it is 200 ft off the water and 7 mi long we are a mile away
It calved 3 mi of it  when we were there
The biggest the crew had seen the wave very large the captain had to maneuver the boat to  ride it out

We spent 2 nights in Palmer Alaska before coming to Valdez no Internet so no post

Portage Glacier
Seward to Palmer Hwy

In Palmer went to a Muskox farm

Next are of Palmer to Valdez

this is the RV park in Valdez we are on the bay that is a ship channel behind the RVs mine is in lower rt
the otters were behind the small RV

The 29 we are going on a 9 hour Prince William Sound Whale & Wildlife boat cruise

SEWARD AK Day 2

To day we went sea kayaking for 3 1/2 hrs had a lot of good wildlife sightings 
First we saw a hump back whale nere the water taxi .We were in the 40 minuets  one way it was accords the fjord in a bay.
On the trip we saw a seal,8 porpoise ,jelly fish, a bald eagle with a fish he just caught
and a lot of Salmon that jumping in the bay

SEWARD AK

In Seward we went to the Alaska Sea life Center.
The Alaska fish , birds and mammals rehab
Next we went on Kenai Fjords Glacier & Wildlife Cruise 5 1/2 hr
Saw pod of 8 whales fishing in the Gulf of Alaska .
When we made the turn and got the waves on the side of ship
 Sea sickness came to the ship and I was one of many
We saw no glaciers raining and low clouds
.

 Sandra and Roger were not over come by the sea sickness
