Whitehorse Yukon Territory

Today at 1:45 we arrived in Whitehorse YT 269mi trip saw no animals today
I added my email from the 29th if I for got some one
I am not adding pictures the wifi is to slow
there was a lot animals on the 29th -- sheep, bear black and grisly, moose, elk and caribou
will add when I get faster wifi

6/29/11 at 12:00 noon we arrived in Watson Lake YT.

The wifi has been poor the last few days we will update you now

Dawson Creek we traveled (283 mi) to Fort Nelson BC (189 mi) to Liard River BC (126 mi) to Watson Lake YT

At Fort Nelson went to the Heritage Museum thing they used to build the Alaskan Hwy and more.

It was the our first leg of the Alaskan Hwy we looked at old bridges and the landscape

Liard River BC had HOT springs 110 f in first pool on the stream the third was 95 f went in third and second 100 f may be 25 min thought it was too hot

Watson Lake YT we put a sign in the Sign Post Forest 1000s from all over the world

in 1942 a worker on the hwy put up a sign new signs go up every day

Dawson Creek BC

We got to Dawson Creek BC to day after back tracking 400 miles The bridge got washed out 20 miles from Dawson Creek (6 to 10 inch's) on the route from Prince George to Dawson Creek.
Last night we spent at Hinton AB in a KOA Park
we back tracked from Prince George to Jasper then to Hinton AB
We went north from Hinton AB to Grande Prairie AB then to Dawson Creek BC
After we got here we went to mile post zero on the Alaskan Hwy then a game farm

A moose ran across the hwy, they can run fast by the time I got up there it was gone
We are off to Fort Neison tomorrow BEAR CONTRY

Prince George stop on the Montana to Alaska Trek

We spent the day in Prince George to add more travelers 4 more RV's

Went shopping at Costco and Wal-Mart to resupply the price's where +10 cents  Caif on the items that I have been checking on my travels in US.


 I am adding pictures from other days

Don's Montana to Alaska by Motorhome

day 8 6/22/111We are in Prince George BC rain all the way but we saw 2 bears and a dear Roger saw a moose
I have edited the first post and fixed the videos and add one
From now on I will be adding to the top so you don't have to re look at every thing
some have said little better description all I can say in the last 60 years how many letters have you received from me. :) but will work on it
 but you all need to see with your eyes it is more than I can describe
